No masks or social distancing required at MetLife Stadium
EAST RUTHERFORD – As the schedule fills with games, events and concerts, MetLife Stadium has announced that it will not require proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend.
As of Monster Jam, the first event with fans at the stadium since 2020, ticket holders will not be required to take a COVID-19 test before entering, wearing a mask or social distancing. The stadium will be at 100% capacity with suites and clubs all open.
No cash will be accepted at points of sale and points of sale. Reverse ATMs will be available to convert cash to debit cards at no charge.
The stadium has issued “safe stadium protocols,” which recommend that ticket holders who are not fully vaccinated wear a mask. The protocols also state that upon entering the stadium, participants confirm that they have not been exposed to COVID-19 or have a temperature above 100 degrees.
Masks will be required for those traveling via the NJ Transit and Coach USA buses, carpools and taxis in accordance with federal transportation regulations.
Tailgating will also be back with the opening of parking lots five hours before an event.
Guns’ n Roses will be in concert on August 5 and a Giants-Jets exhibition match is scheduled for August 14.
